Been reading about Prof Randy Pausch this morning. Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Vast amount of work he did over the years there on creating virtual worlds and introducing kids to computers, 'project alice'. He was diagnosed with terminal pancriatic cancer and with only a few months to live gave his last lecture series entitled, 'How to live your childhood dreams'. Its quite a read and there is also a video of the lecture on google:
