Processor/Memory Benchmarking

I just received my Athlon XP 2000. I'm going to put the old girl in later on tonight. But before I do, I want to do some CPU/RAM benchmarks to compare with the system afterwards. Has anyone ever found a great, reliable, accurate benchmarking app? I heard SiSoft Sandra is a good app, any opinions?

I don't like syntheic benchmarks. I just follow benchies for games.

Yup all i want is a number for CPU performance beforehand and after. Likewise with RAM. Just so i can see a rough comparison
