good sunday to all ,

got a question, maybe sb can enlighten me on this:

how the proc works on mage staffs?
my menta will got one for her epic 40, never had one b4 as mage,
and wondering how to make it work?
does it add randomly to a spell attack like on melee weaps or some other way?
tx for info :)

Place the weapon icon into your quickbar, target something and out of combat press use (usually 'e') and then click on the weapons icon, tada, charge used

some staves proc randomly, but the one you get at 40 is a charged stave, you can command it to proc pretty much, just keep it recharged :)

And something that Psy didnt add is that charges cost 50G+ Per charge.... and most items have around 5 Charges! lot of cash, i only use my sheild charges in solo fights.
Cheerio!

A proc is when your item produces an effect in melee when you use it, e.g. it does extra damage for no apparent reason. The higher your dex, the more often it procs I believe. Find a dex buffer char (eg shammy) and love your proc if you are a melee class.

Fairly pointless for casters /em cries

The Use Item thing applies to charged items and the method posted above for using them is correct though it actually refers to the charged ability, not the proc. You don't pay for procs to be recharged since they are just a random effect :)

He He ... oh yes! Why else did they give us pulsing bladeturn :) To think, people actually think it is for the benefit of Armsmen/infs/clerics/pallys etc. Nope - its so we can tank!
