Probs with ISDN and Q2

Hi there.

I have recently had BT Highway installed at home and since have been unable to play Q2. When I try to connect to any server, Q2 bombs out with the message 'SZ_Getspace Error - Overflow without allowoverflow set'.

Any ideas whats going on here ?

Also what RWIN setting do you ISDNers use for 64k single channel mode ?

Ah thanks for the replies

I found the problem and it was a bit of daftness on my part .. the rate setting in the default config was 25k *cough*

This caused the server to flood my connection and bomb out. Prob solved, thanks again !

Ive had no probs with my ISDN since it was fitted last monday, in fact im finding it brilliant, 30-40 pings on Claranet and BW servers. Try updating the drivers for your ISDN card. Im using the Asuscom internal isdn card, find it brilliant for quakin.
Have a shout at BT, may even be a shitted up line. Wouldnt be the first time..

I may be totally wrong here but I seem to remember getting that error message & the problem turned out to be an over-sized autoexec.cfg.

Apparently there is a limit to the size this file can be (approx 5-6k). When I shifted stuff out of it into separate scripts which were 'exec'ed from the autoexec.cfg things were cool again. Have you recently put new stuff in your autoexec?

its jsut the bloody server i go on several gloom servers for q2 and i get that message from time to time and everyone else gets droped out as well so it isnt just me its the server...hmmm i think i posted a little late
