Problems with BW FTP server

I use NTL broadband and can't connect to the BW FTP server even though im logged in, I get a 'timed out' error. Anyone else have this problem or know of a work around. ?

I get it all the time, especially when something new and exciting is out, I just keep trying and it logs in eventually, or go on the public ftp which I can get on first time every time.

With my maximum 8k/s I don't miss the apparently fast speeds of the other one anyway....

Never thought about trying the public FTP, i'll give it a go, cheers Gumbo

I'm on NTL cable, I never have problems logging in. What OS are you running? Any problems with other ftps?
