Problems with Avatar

I know you have to have so many posts before you can have an avatar as Tremor told me, but I can't seem to see other peoples avatar's, and I believe that I know have slightly over 20 posts to my name, therefore I should be able to have my own. Has anyone else had a problem before displaying them? If so, how did you resolve it? Thanks

Check the "Edit Option" option in your profile and make sure that

Show user's avatar in their posts?

is selected
