i use those also but my question is for audiogalaxy, the rest are better, yes but i can line the ones i want at home and download them somewhere with a faster connection because the list of music iwant is always online
[PATRONISING]Really, they are lovely. I don't understand why they don't like them...[/PATRONISING]
Maybe because they slow down page loading, and make it look really tacky?
Kyuss sig pics are disabled for a reason. They look utterly shit, they have no purpose, and they slow down the loading of the page. If you try and circumvent it by putting the image in your post, you'll get your account banned very quickly.
Morpheus is good, though a lot of BT ADSL users are having problems with this and other P2P progs. The exception seems to be Direct Connect which, although it uses a slightly different system (sort of HUB based), works very well.
I use Morpheous over a BT ADSL connection and it's pretty darn slow. Never really got more than a few K a sec off of any file. I would have thought many people with modems would be hosting whole series of Family Guy in MPG format..so I'm guessing those people have broadband too....still only a few K a sec.
TBH I'm actually glad Morpheus gives piss poor download speeds on ADSL. My girlfriend's room is upstairs in this shared house and she's forever downloading songs and tv series like Futurama and Family guy. She's quite happy to leave them to download slowly at 4k/s and I'm quite happy that she's not hogging my RTCW playing bandwidth.
I agree, the GNuttela network is the way to go at the moment, although it is slow for 56k connections due to the bandwidth used while other peoples searches go via your PC.
Not tried Morpheus myself, I use Limewire and Bearshare but I imagine they are pretty much the same.
