Problems connecting to internet games... help plz ??

Hey everyone...

I'm having stress trying to connect to internet games... it connects, loads, does the "awaiting challenge" thing, goes to the welcome page, then boots me out back to the main menu... I'm using 1.27g and gamespy3d (it does the same if i connect from within the game), my dial-up thing is set to never dial a connection... any ideas ??

If you bring down the console, and scroll up, you should see the error message. This'll give you a good indication of what's going on.

Before you launch Q3 check the version, that the server running.In gamespy info box. I had this problem when i upgraded. Do U get a protocal error

It's not a difference in versions because it connects sometimes (about 1 out of 10 tries). I checked the console and it gives an error about a .dll (can't load) and something along the lines of qvf or something...
