Problem

when i connect to a server through The all-seeing eye, it loads the map and then cuts off back to my desktop and closes the game
any ideas ?

A few questions to start off with ;

Which server?

Is it a mod?

Have you updated to BF 1.5?

Has the server updated to 1.5?

If its DC have you updated to .5?

If its DC has the server updated to .5?

Whats contained in your error log? (which can be found in your battlfield1942/mods/bf1942/logs directory)

Have you installed any custom maps recently?

Try one of these;

ASE says its been updated for 1.5 and DC 0.5

But I just don't believe them.
