Problem!

I connect to the internet through NTL Broadband, and am currently having trouble with DAoC.

1/ Takes a few mins to get to the Acct pword screen.
2/ LD every 5 mins or so.

Is this just me, or other cable broadband users or just DAoC??


I dont think its DAoC because the servers are still filling up and up so maybe 1 of the others

2 days ago, I had the same problem with my connection (ADSL)... I have a win2k server that shares the internet for several pc's in my house. One day I LD'd in DaoC and couldn't reconnect. I could not access internet from my pc, but the win2k server was working fine. I restarted the sharing program (AllAboard), and all was fine. After 5 minutes of DaoC, same thing happened. This happened 5 times in a row. So I stopped logging into DaoC and just used internet for other things. No disconnection problems whatsoever occurred.... So it WAS DaoC causing a connection problem. Afaik I was the only one having this problem. One day later it didn't occur anymore. I have no idea why.

Had the same problem a few months back and tracked it down to my local NTL router that was faulty. Do a tracert and check out where it trips up. In my case it took about a week to a) admit to there being a glitch and b) rectify it.

this is a problem with NTL broadband actually im on NTL and they did 1 of there great maintenances last night so dunno whats happening tbh

I'm on NTL broadband, and I just totally lost my connection last night (well, this morning at about 1:50 ), and couldn't reconnect.

When I finally managed to get logged in this morning, I was at the Bindstone in Cots....

I usually don't have many problems with my connection... just these nasty little unannounced severances every now and then....
