Problem with the campaign plz help?

Hi there

I just bought this game,and have really enjoyed the campaign,
untill i got to the RAT TUNNEL part, ive gone down to the
lower part were the screen turns pitch black!

i know about the lightsticks but i run out of them to quickly,ive tried just fumbling around in the dark using the stick sparingly,
but this just plain sux as the place is booby trappped, or you get
stuck in rooms etc..

There is a flashlight icon but is it on or needs to be turned on?
if so how, manual doesnt say.

Gamma does nothing!, was hoping you might be able to help!

The flashlight is on the "L" key, i only found this out from reading a thread on another forum lol

I got stuck here too.

I press the "L" key to see if it would turn on the "L"ight and it did.

Yeah, great manual!!!
