i know this may sound silly but you making sure you plugged all the colours into the right place?

Also if your TV is like mine then you will have for example AV1 and AV1s make sure its on the correct channel

component does not carry sound, you need to plugin the 2 separate sound cables red/white to your tv phono input if it has them if not then some tv have a headpone type socket use a phono to 3.5mm adaptor for to plug it in

What Yaka said - i did the same mistake when i pluged my new tv in a few weeks ago. Used the component cable and forgot to plug in the sound cables and was wondering what the heck was going on until i realized what i had missed.

Next thing to do is get an amp and a nice set of speakers and play all your games in crisp 5.1 audio ;)

nothin wrong with setero sound, i pefer to play mp games via headphones on pc,360 and ps3. its prolly a habbit i picked from qw days

but if your going for 5.1/6.1/7.1 etc best to go for seprate solution than an all in one box. i know many peeps whith the same speakers and only upgrade the amp when the time comes to upgrade. speakers are one thing the dont age much
