Problem with IE.

I've encoutered a problem the last few days, where simply my homepage in internet options is being set to about:blank without me doing anything and comes up with some lucky search page when i start up IE. I've run AVG and havn't found any viruses. I'm running XP home, any ideas whats up?

I'd suggest you get hold of AdAware, as there are a number of programs which, while they don't get classed as viruses, hijack your browser's home page to point to their site.

In addition, I would recommend that you get hold of this product

May be worth doing a search of your C:\ for a file called "hosts" which can be used to hijack connections. If you find that it is full of lots and lots of entires, then you will find that deleting everything except the "localhost" line(s) may fix the problem.
