Hi all,

i just bought a new pc with a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128 ddr
I played daoc on my previous pc with a tnt2 and everything was fine.
When i play the game now i sometimes got weird grafical problems:

I can see through a house.
I see a wall where a door should be but i can still go through it.
I see colored lines where gras or dirt should be and suddenly its fine.
...

I have the latest nvidia drivers and directx.
I also tryed changing all graficalsetting in the game.
Should i put it on vodoo based or standard?

Does anyone else got weird gradic problems and how to solve it?
I'll take some screenshots to show it.
If you know how to solve it let me know something.

Thanks

What exact verion of the Nvidia drivers are you using?
40.72?

What's your OS?

Standard graphics in-game.

If you run a 40.xx nVidia driver try downgrading to a older version, I think I run 38.xx and they have given me no problems whereas 40.xx have given me problems in several games.

Im using 40.72 on a win2000
Is it ok to just overinstall an older version of nvidia?

Most recommend uninstalling old drivers first, then installing the other. So do that I guess :)

1). Uninstall old graphic card drivers.

2). Download and install latest chipset (Via, Intel etc..) drivers.

3). Download and install latest Nvidia drivers for windows 2000.

If this doesn't work, try sacrificing a virgin or something.

Got the latest Direct X?

Are your AGP BIOS setting correct?

Also........this happened to me before which could be it.

How much memory do you have? I am sure that there is a problem with DAoC that if you have more than 512 MB of RAM then you do get weird stuff happening.

I had more and I got weird crap on my screen and kept crashing. As soon as I took it out and left just 512MB of RAM inside then the game worked fine.

Interesting problem, as your setup is very similar to mine ans I have no probs.
Have you tried checking if your Mobo has the latest available Bios?
