I was thinking of trying to write a USB Modem driver for linux. Just wondered where to start 'n stuff. I know there is a driver for my modems chipset (conexant).

well, a good idea might be to download some working code and looking at that. linux kernels can be found at http://www.kernel.org. dl one of the current ones, unpack it and have a wee look at how they've set things up.

heheh good luck. I know nothing of low level stuff (though I can figure some C out if left alone long enough), and I seriously admire peeps who can churn it out at the drop of a hat :)
