hi,
got a slight fook up here, which i and GOA aint got a clue on,
went to re-activate my account after a year break, went to account, password etc, then went to put in CC [ notice they changed it to flash ]

Realised after i put in the wrong CC, thought NP, just re do it put in other CC, when i went back on account i got this....UNABLE TO MODIFY YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. AN INVOICE IS CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS. so Emailed GOA and asked, day later got a mail asking for my KEY, username etc, did that, day later got another reply, saying check your cookies are on accept. and security settings are on LOW, <<laughs, and check u have IE 6.0, and no fire wall running. so did all that, went back on again...did it work? course not..
emailed again, next day, no answer. and still no answer, been 4 days, still stuck on that message and it wont clear. tired emptying the cache that dont work. im totally lost on what to do. anyone had the same problem or any idea on how to fix it? coz GOA aint got a Fooking Clue..

The Invoice in progress message will clear in 3 hours. If it doesn;t then it's likely that your computer is cacheing the page or there's a problem with your proxy server.
If you've cleared the cache and set the settings as the subs guys recommend then all I can suggest is to try connecting to the site from a different computer and it should be ok.

ok, still not working..
just woke up, cleared cache again, tried it on my brothers computer and dont work, done the CTRL-F5 and no good.

So anyone else with a idea? coz this is really getting on my nerves...

If i understand it correct they have an invoice going with the wrong CC number? I had that once and the only solution was to wait til the sub ran out... so with your situation my guess would be you have to wait until they realize that the CC isn't working. Then again i hope you don't get problems because of entering a wrong Cardnumber... we all know its GOA :clap:

but waiting 4 days for it to clear? usually take this long?

i doubt it, summin is serious fuked up,
they should of left it the old way, way more reliable, this is bloody stupid.

If it helps at all seems ive got the same problem after re subbing today after a 4 month break i managed to get the sub to work but my account is now stuck on the cant modify due to open its well past any 3 hours now it hasnt cleared. ive tried clearing my cache reducing security to low cookies are on accept etc even turned my firewall off to test that theory and nada nothing zip sweet fa. fortuantly im lucky that my debit card is up at the end of july so no more money can be taken from me if there is some error of some sort its just annoying and bothers me so dont worry youre not alone with the sub page errors.

hopefully it will get fixed, i suppose ill email them now after the weekend in the hope they can help.

oh another thing ive realised is i didnt recieve a confirmation email like we used to with the old system i dont know if thats stopped or if its just another part of the glitch in the system

why change from the old system anyway this new flash one sucks takes ages to load on my 56k :eek2:

Well i checked again this morning and its finally cleared and im able to edit again seems a rather long 3 hours... so i suspect theres a definate glitch somewhere :(

it took 7 days to get them to sort my account out best thing to do is if you have an online banking send them a screen shot to show the money has come out of your account (uk id BIBIT) use image editing software (paintshop) to remove irrelevant details and send it that soon got mine sorted and a couple of free days for the innconvience

its a shame they did change from the old system tbh ok it was a bit flakey from time to time but at least there was a bit more reassurance when you at least got automated emails telling you youre renewal had gone through. i had to check a few times to make sure it had actually gone to none so i had no auto renewal in the end i just logged out,logged back in and took a screen grab for peace of mind. just happy im safe in the knowledge that my debit card expiry date is up soon
