Pro Evo or Fifa for PS3

Which out of the two are considered the best football game for the PS3? On the PS2 Pro Evo was considered the superior of the two games, yet from what i've read Pro Evo on the PS3 seems to being slated. Has anyone got/tried both?

I have both on the 360, i used to think pro evo > fifa. But after playing this years fifa i have come to like it alot more then pro evo.

Fifa is alot more realistic, pes is to easy to get good at. Fifa requires alot more "skill"

It is much harder to score a goal on Fifa, its alot harder to get around players in general...

all you have to do on pes is run down the wing, cut in and pass it to the guy standing in front of goal.

I have to say that for playing against your mates (not online) PES is still the way. However, singleplayer or online it would have to be FIFA this time round.

Don't pay more than £20 for either if you are buying now though, this years versions are just around the corner.

I've got both and find pro evo to be far superior. It has much better (and more realistic) game play and to me that is what counts.

I brought FIFA, I prefer pro evo tbh. Fifa = too slow.

Funking lag online drives me nuts in pro evo though.

play pro online? are you freaking crazy, it has the most fucked up netcode ever and kills all enjoyment.

Yeah but it's not all with every match, i get it probably less than 30% of the time. The thing that annoys me most online is playing inter and barcelona every match with people doing cut back goals

With some people i always get lag and with others i never do, so hopefully i can find some more people who i won't lag with

seriously, id wait a few months for the next versions. if you pld ny of the previous pes games then you will notice its not perfect. online on both 360 and ps3 it is shit and laggy

last two itterations of pro evo have been pretty terrible, especially 2008. fifa 08 was great. 09 should be even better. i usually buy both anyway ;x
