I am left with a great feeling of emptyness. There is really nothing amazing about it, it is just as easy as the demo, far too easy. There is no build up of goals, you can just run and any shot will trouble the keepers. I really hope they simply rushed the release and have a patch to balance it up, or I may find myself buying fifa.

Im still enjoying Fifa alot. I cant see myself buying this version of PES. The online play is just too damn good.

Looks like FIFA and PES have swapped places as far as realism is concerned.

What do you class as build up?

There is as much build up as you want in any football game i like to play a 1 touch pass game or sometimes i will pass it slowly and build up or if i have just survived an attack STRAIGHT away i will look on the radar and do a long through ball to 1 of my 2 strikers and catch them on the counter.

My only gripe is the online lag and once it's fixed i'll be happy.

I went back to playing PES6 last night and lost 4 games straight because each version of PES feels so different to the last.

I like it..

..But its still very similar to previous versions.

I'm a little appalled they've been pasting in the same crappy training menu option for the last three versions or more..

I might pick up Fifa when its price has plummeted, but I've heard things about the AI that put me right off..

Martins down a wing is so fast its crazy.. he has 99 speed 99 acceleration he kills defenders if he has space.

Maybe it's just me, but the ps3 version actually seems difficult. Playing on normal with man u, and I cannot even beat teams I trounce on the 360 version. Looks like I may be picking up another ps3 controller for pro on the ps3.

you are not the only one saying that ch3ts,

for 360 master leaugue i found it to be easier than ever on 360. on the previous ps2 versions and latter patched ps2 versions. in master leaugue id just about muster a top 3 finish in the first season. on 360 ive done soamt ive always done, got cheap players with highest stamina and speed rating, and am at the top witjh a string of 2-1 wins

of and one other thing achivments for this game is it b0rked or something its only given me 1 so far

Played a bit more, my advice to anyone buying this game is to get the ps3 version if you are able. I really would not bother with the 360 version until they patch it up.

Nope it does not, it has exactly the same framerate problems as the 360 -none in open gameplay, lots of stuttering in replays and pre match scenes. Pro is also the only game apart from god of war 2 that I can actually use the six axis crap with.

Regular is definitely easier than the last version.. but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. The old one was pretty ridiculous at times.

Have you guys tried turning the difficulty up from regular lol? :p :touch: Am sure that might help..

Personally I'm having lots of fun with the 360 version, much more than the previous release, and it feels pretty shiny and polished so *shrug*

Admittedly, though, there is nothing *new*, which is a shame. And speed ftw.

I thought so too, after playing the demos.

*Bothered* :)

I've seen lots of complaints regarding Fifa AI etc. on some forums, so this makes me dubious. I haven't played the demo or the full game however so my opinion is massive speculation with little substance..

I think things are pretty balanced this year and it depends what you're looking for determining which you'll prefer. I've no doubt both are pretty good. If I had the money, I'd probably pick both up, but alas I don't - but Pro8 is enough for me atm :)
