Never heard of it... Perimeter on the other hand is pretty darn sweet.

Though I'm stuck on a map atm :(

Been playing it for a few hours, it's a lot of fun..

Currently stuck on Biodamage which is frankly an absurdly hard level so early on in the game :)

Looking forward to a few multiplayer games when I learn a bit more :)

Perimeter troubles on BIODAMAGE.

I think theres a bug in the game on level 7: 07BIODAMAGE.
When the Harkback Frame sends Digger units underneath your claimed Zero land, the grey land (as around a just built Energy Core) turns to light grey land (as if it were claimed by a Brigadier) except you cannot build on it. When the green units tunnel underneath your Frame (as your SubCatcher units don't seem to harm them) your Frame will instantly uninstall and refuse to install itself until you find a new huge square of land. (This means your Spiral level will freeze at about 59%) If you try to send a squad of your own Digger units across the map underneath the Harkback Frame, they will change the colour of their land, but their Frame will not uninstall and their Spiral will charge to completion and you will lose.
If there's ANY way around this stupid level please tell me! I can't find any walkthroughs, guides or FAQ's on Google and every time I look for Perimeter help all I find is people stuck on this level. I was just getting into this game, damnit! The previous level where you learn to capture enemy Energy Networks was amazing, I think.

Yea i had problems with that too the first few (ahm 5) times ;)

Basically what you have to do is to disconnect the enemy (Zodiac) Frame from ALL power nodes BEFORE the gate comes close to the enemy frame (the gate hovers around, starts at your base and then hovers over to enemy frame)

Now if you look at the enemy base you will quickly notice that it's impossible to attack them (they have like 500 laser turrets and 250 rocket launchers.. well maybe not that many... but enught that you can't attack with air/ground units

However you should also see that they only have TWO Chaser guns (the underground cannons)... that should clue you in that this is a mission for underground units.

Now you can only build two underground units, the first (Digger) can't attack, the second (Scumer) can, it disrupts the ground above it enught to damage buildings.

So when the missions starts, first build several chaser guns around your frame as you will be attacked soon, at the same time start building more factories of the type required for the Scumer units. build as many as fast as you can... i build 20 before i started to attack.

so with about 20 Scumers attack the enemy base, FIRST take out the two Chanser guns. after that disconnect the enemy frame (kill all power nodes connecting to it)
once that is done, take your time killing all other buildings on the enemy area, make sure your spiral is chared as the gate will slowely come around back to your base (after it passes the enemy base, which you should have obliterated by now :)

btw... if you think this mission is hard... just wait until the next mission.. uh yea and after that mission is seriously INSANELY hard.. and that even on EASY mode... wiredly though the mission after that (10) is easy again... i'm currently on 12.. no enemy frame, but it's really really annoying otherwise (you'll see ;)

Scumers, eh? It's not obvious that they're subterranean. You've gotta upgrade your labs REAL QUICK.

I bought this yesterday. Im only a few levels in now due to being stuck at work tonight. I think I like it though. I prefer C&C Zero Hour at the moment, but I think thats just because Im still unfamiliar with this.
