Pre-NF server

Im just curious how many people would be willing to donate money to goa to buy us a new set of pre-nf servers.
Keep flames and "this isnt ona happen" out plz.

If a gm is reading this how feasible would it be if we managed to raise enough money to have this implemented

Its a good idea, but how many would get it and suddenly say "gifv battler4tehwin" and abandon the idea? How many people went YAY!!! at Camlann, and now dont touch it?

I disagree camlann has a strong player base, more so since NF has hit.

But the lack of replaies how many people are willing to whine but not do something about it

tbh i wou'dnt' want to donate any more of my money to an already flagging game. with the amount of MMO's out there already and more to come in the new year, there really isn't a point to trying to resurrect something that will fall on deaf ears.

I don't believe that was a flame or a 'this isn't going to happen'.

I love the game.

I still love the game.

I generally love it more and more with each patch and expansion.

There are a few small things I dont like but the good far far outweighs the bad.

My only concern is the lag. But, we have had lag problems in the past. They are a royal pain in the butt but they have always been fixed in the past; either if its GOA's or Open Transit's problem. And I for one am prepared to give GOA the chance to sort it again.

Lag apart. As long and Mythic/GOA deliver new and interesting content at a similar rate. I'll carry on playing.

I guess its because I like to explore stuff. I'm not a stat junkie and rvr wtfpwnj00l33tdewd. Nothing against that kind of player, you have the right to enjoy yer game too, its just harder to please you all of the time. I still wander round SI and ToA and look at the view and go 'oooooo' to myself, I pve, I rvr, I craft, I hunt trophy mobs, I get MLs, I level yet another alt.

Most of all, I wander about this game, still in wonder and have a laugh with my mates, who I wouldnt have met if it wasnt for this game. So all in all, my 8 quid a month is fantastic value for money and has made my life better.

Holy cow, I only planned to write a couple of lines and I seem to have spilled my guts. Sorry guys, I'll shut up now.

The problem with this whole idea is that people would want a server of every type/patch number, because their particular character was fotm or what have you. Then of course you end up with a server per patch per language, possibly per server type (pvp/standard) and only 6 people on each server.

Well, seeing the lag that *has* been every now and then, with that lag the game was still playable... And always resolved fairly fast... But looking at alb ToA a.t.m , it's unplayable from about 1500CET until 0100CET... and has been for a while now... Sure, a simple "stay out of ToA" would be enough, and yes, i am, but kinda hard and boring for ppl who wanna get artis and do MLs.. So my hope is that they speed up that 1.71 patch that they claim will make things better... I'm just curious for how long it will take... Anyways, i'm tired, and hopefully i've written something understandable, don't have the energy to read what i wrote

NF is great for the casual gamer who doesnt like tweaking their template to perfection, doesnt like to run in fully opted groups and doesnt mind not having 8 v 8, or that person who spent all their time in pve because they couldnt compete (yes generalisations i know, but thats the truth of it), and for the vast majority its great.
Problem is i find keep wars dull, and zergs pointless and boring, i am not leet, i dont have alot of time in the week and have been effectively forced to leave excal and start all over again on pry because its quieter there and more fg vs fg.
Easiest way to have solved this would have been to make battlegrounds where only equal numbers could enter at any time, but htis will never happen as mythic already have their new game lined up i dont see them putting much effort into daoc folowing catacombs and possibly another expansion after that
