Well, we (MCP) missed both our matches on Sunday.
Apologies to PxRx and SoF.

Had we known, we could have put up a team no problem.
To be honest, I didn't check the website or forums, so I had no idea about the matches.

In all honesty though, surely it wouldn't have hurt for someone to have mailled out to the clans concerned to say that these matches were arranged?

Agreed. Perhaps a mailing list could be made ready for next season's kick off. It would ensure that clan leaders are kept up to date with current events without having to trawl around searching for information too much.

This is especially handy when you consider some clans are simultaneously playing in 3 different leagues plus arranging practice scrms.

why have a mailing list when there is a website?

what is stopping you looking on the webby when u are on the internet anyway checking your email?

bet u prolly looked on the other league webbys for your fixtures? what is stopping you looking at the BW one?

imo it is only you to blame about missing matches.

I quite agree. Normally I do check the website and forums daily.

However, tbh the webiste is updated so infrequently, that I stopped checking it and had assumed the league had finished.

Suddenly after weeks of inactivity, some unplayed matches are scheduled out of nowhere, and we are expected to know about them?

Cmon, we're not mind readers.

Given the amount of no shows this season, I would assume it was in your best interests to keep all participants up to date on when games are taking place.

The website would work if it was updated on a more regular basis. As it is tho, people know that as a general rule of thumb it gets an update on Sunday or Monday then remains static for the rest of the week.
