I have a bit {OK OK a lot} of problems with my PC. I have a PII 350, 128MB RAM with a 440BX motherboard. I recently have had problems with the power supply inside blowing up...{The noise I don't mind too much but}...this has happened 3 times in the past 2 weeks after replacing the power supply with a new one. It seems to work a couple of days then suddenly BANG! a bit of smoke and nothing works..[Another 15 quid up in smoke]...I can't seem to figure out what possibly could be wrong!!

Any Help Please!!!!
You could save my CPU's life!

Do you have a fusebox ? - check it for bits of coat hangers instead of fuses !

Also if you have a fridge / Freezer - make sure its on a different fuse circuit !!!

and washine machine, they really cock things up.
u could have crappy connectors inside the pc, that may be shorting things out, like the connectors on hdd or cd rom.
