I don't see the point of this. Is it connected to that one guy ages ago, Yesu, who got into an argumane with mods about his post count after it was artificially bumped to 50,000 by admins after he was accused of spamming the forums or something? Can't remember all the details...

Anyway I don't see the point of having 'Posts - 0' under everyone's names, surely it just confuses new members and creates an aura of *something bad, maybe mistrust*.

Why not get rid of that all together if you don't want to display post counts under names, I think it's silly like it is?

this used to be the case, I mean back on ye olde BW we'd gotten Deebs to get rid of $user_postcount or whatever it's called and there wasn't the Posts: 0 thing going on.

This is the feedback forum, I'm not complaining or anything - it just occured to me that it looks wrong, like the site is broken. Same as the background colour thing where the banner is, which is why I mentioned that before too. I think they're both really simple things to fix. I just don't think it's good to present the impression that the site is broken to newcomers, that it would look better if it wasn't there.

I know that most of us don't give a shit about it because we're used to seeing it that way all the time. I thought it would be an improvment to remove the 'posts : 0' is all, so I posted it in the feedback forum. I guess if no one else cares then it doesn't matter.

This has been raised in feedback before though, try searching, sure deebs has given an answer on this before.

The post count is there as it is now a mod that resets it to 0 on display.

This saves me the hassle of changing templates between versions.

Unfortunately I have to set it to a number which is a shame (I think we tried other stuff and it broke).
