I have been playing a cleric in the BGs of late, running down the last few days of my daoc sub and generally having a great time. Have a few moans though, so here goes....
I know people don't want to cap quickly, but can support classes please group with clerics. Yes, minstrels, I am talking to you. I need powersong because I am generally one of very, very few clerics and spend almost all my time ressing. This means mucho time sat on my highlander ass regenning power and generally being very vulnerable. I don't generally kill much, so if minstrels will just group with me, they can do their thing and not worry much about capping and I get to ress more often, which is all good when battleing the Mid zerg.
Can more hibbies please come to Thidranki. I feel kind of guilty wiping out the lonely NS or occasional small Hib groups because they always release, and I know how much of a pain that is. Zerg or be zerged
Camping TKs. Why do people do this ?
Shouting 'LETS ATTACK THE KEEP' without rams. Derrr. Wtf are you thinking ? It will take one major zerg to take a keep without rams, and it is totally pointless trying.
I know the BGs is not real RvR, but it is the place where lots of people will learn their RvR skills. From what I have seen of most people in Thidranki, albs on Prydwen will make poor RvRers. Sorry to say it, but running a buffbot cleric on a second account and not ressing (apart from your master and his buddies) just plain sucks. That displays precisely zero commitment to your realm mates or the cause, just a dedication to RP, but I guess this is the way the game tends to be going <sighs>. Also, if you are an insanely suicidal assassin whose primary interest is how much your PA hits for and dies outside the keep doors for the nth time, then please release. Clerics and Friars are a rare breed in Thidranki (outnumber like 5:1 by infils) and our death is significant, whereas yours is not.
Apart from that, I have had a good time. Soon to cap out, but until then, my ress is available to anyone. Just wish I could smite more, since thats what I spent most of my points in heh.
