Possible event message - please correct/confirm

Going through Camp Forest on a horse and I received a broadcast message. In short it involves troops moving through the foilage and there was a scream beforehand.

Does this have anything to do with an epic quest or standard quest or is this an event message?

hmm keleden from cop mentioned this before, but i have seen these blue wrtinig things before going through camp forest, so it could be, but then again could not :/

I've seen messages in Camp Forest about 'a distant rumbling heard from the north' or something which is to do with players being teleported to Snowdonia for epic quests, but nothing like this.....

I heard it too, I assumed it was from an epic quest...

I heard the same msg too when i i was on my horse to CU. When i got there a lot of mobs were attacking in and none of the guards did anything. Me and breon stepped in and killed them. They were all grey so i do not know if its an event or the same quest u get at a lower lvl where u bring a letter to a guard and then lots of mobs attack the guard.

These are (probably) the same as the Giant Lemur in Midgard.

It's (probably) a built in "faction" type event. The goblins/ogres/filidh or whoever simply attack the fort, and players can get involved if they so wish.

The war drums are either the goblins and/or the ogres. Next time, check the area W through NW to N of Caer Ulfwych. About 300-400 meters in, maybe you find something.
