We just killed the dragon on Prydwen/Midgard, with only about 150 people, attacking at the same time from 3 sides.. mega rush, she went down quickly.

The 4 first ones. Cloth cap drops for all realms I think. Seen an alb or hib version of it.

Ebony Flecked Shimmering Cloak isnt unique, wearing it myself, it also rarely drops off some named drakulvs

LOL after reading that I just realised skalds get feek'd drop wise , the only CHA + items there is a shield and a 1 handed weapon LOL items that are of absolutely no use to a skald, god danm Mythic suxxors at makeing items with cha+ , try to make a search for such items and you will get like a handfull if ya lucky bahhhh

/em wispers something about hammers being the best weapon in rvr

there might be more then the showen dragon drops Damon, since its damn hard to kill her and bloody hard to sort out the drops after the fight. It is after all 16 items for 162 (thats the count of none /anon people in malmo duing the dragon raid), so the question is do all the lowbies that help playing bait and all the none guilded (and none alliance guilds) realy care to enter the battle to kill the dragon. The dragon is like all other mobs there is something she drops more often of her rare drops and there is something she drops less. So if we want to know all her drops we better start chain killing her (with a 24hour down time) :D

hehe well Damon is still right, skald does get fucked drop wise, theres only 1h drops and a ring that give char, but then again if one were an utter arse could just put on the 1h weapons if the sword is lefthand usable and put hammer in right hand slot will get you all the bonusses...sounds like an idea :D Not to mention you get +10 Parry too uhh how i love parry ;)...Yes i might be weird aiming for a 44/44/21 spec and +10 to parry would give me 31 Parry +any other items i have with parry on it...sounds weird but hey i parry the shit out of MS and any other mob trying to kill me

Hehe, the designer's went overboard on this set of drops - there's a Healer-only helm with +4 Pacification. +Pac has absolutely no effect as a modifier.

Still a nice hat, mind :)

Out of interest, did those crazy drakulvs appear when the dragon got down to however much health? You know, the ones that heal her back up?

And I thought +pac as a modifier helped when it came to using an area mesmerisation, although I'll be the first to admit I am very ignorant of game mechanics.

about skalds getting screwed with dragon drops

why do items have to give charisma for a skald to use them, if I had a skald who used axes, I would give my right hand for that axe, azure swathcutter, or even the small shield and hammer for a hammer using skald, it might be 1h, but that hammer is badass, it has something like a 60 DD lifedrain proc

besides the dragon drops more than that, ex. an AF 102 quality 100% chainarmour, that I think every chainuser would want

Well Done guys!! My name is Garnet Lockheart from midgard excalibur a lvl 50 healer norsebabe. At least we know its possible for midgard pryd to kill that mofo but we need severe tips on excalibur. We have tried several times and still cannot beat her - best we have done is took her down to 90% of her hp :(. Midgard in excal is in so much trouble recently - no defeating dragon, no relics at all and now we cant even take our relics back cus of the new patch guards they have added :(. Back to the point any tips would be useful :)

Oi Oi.

Just wanted to say how the drops was devided.
The easiest way to devide those drops was this way imo.

It was 4 uber items ppl wanted to lay their hands on.
Hammer,Sword,Studded Gloves,Cloth Cap.


So how to devide those items?
This way, we had a cg up and like i said.. CANT make everyone happy. I said 8 guild names and i perhaps forgot some guild but hey i am not perfect.. :)

8 guilds that was imo some of the most importent ones at the dragon raid. It was i belive
EoO,Warders,Bulle,Kalevala,Mighty,
Svea Ulvar,White Rose,Savage,

Those i think it was.
Anyway we did lotto on the 4 uber items
And the ones that won the lotto on those items was
Gloves to EoO, Sword to Warders, Cloth Cap to Bulle
Hammer to White Rose.

Some ppl thaught auction would be a good idea.
What those ppl dont think about is that most ppl that help the realm mostly are POOR. Cause they have given so mutch money to relic doors repair. So would it be fair to let those who have spended money on doors to have like no chance to get a item like that.. Nope Sorry.

And some i think wanted to lotto on all ppl..
Or something like that. Sorry to that altso
Would take ages, i think the way we did it was the best thing to do.

Next mob to kill is the Legion and when he is done its time to kill dragon and legion over and over and of course steal back our relics that truly belong to us!


And no ayam i did not get my hammer :(
If u want to steal it.. White Rose has it :)

I Just hope that a person below lvl 50 dont use it..
And get it broken...

Awnser to garnet.


We did it this way 30+healers/shammys 35+rest
First pull mobs from the sides first.
Then we all charged at same time.
A tip altso is not to stick it and when ppl hit it stand inside it.
Altso healers/shammys should ress with their best ress on healers/shammys i think it was to or something like that :p

And runemaster DD did ALOT of dmg on it.
Altso for thanes dont use your self dmg add
as it dont work or at least i dont think it works
it did not work in 1.45...


Hope that midgard on excal altso can have their victory!

Well, what most helped I think was that we engaged her in melee quite fast and from all three sides, with that the dragon barely used her yberAoE attack (at least it looked to me like there was considerably less deaths than on previous attempts). So if I remember correctly then it was like this (sorry Blejsarus, if I'm way off now): 1st all fighters went to engage in Melee and then the runies started nuking from behind and that was quite it, health bar dropped like crazy anyway. I remember though some runie being quite happy because he/she had done about 200 dmg with some cold attack (not very familiar with runie nukes).

Maybe some1 has the chat logs from that fight too to post here, these could also be of help perhaps.
