Excluding the DC of course, which console PS2, X-BOX or Game Cube will have the best Sega games?

I ask this, as I have just heard that shinobi has been confirmed for PS2.

Hmm I reckon either the ps2 or Gamecube. Xbox is doing so shit in Japan that developer confidence over there must be very low.

The GC will get all the typically bright & fun (easily accessible) sega games (smb, sonic, etc) while the ps2 gets the more technical and darker games, I reckon.
Shinobi is the daddy ;/

To be fare to the xbox, it will get the later games like JSR, Shenmue, and that 'Hello' look alike gun valkerie looks likes a laff.

Shinobi is the daddy ;/

It's been remarked that this is one of the best pieces of news ever! There was even a screen shot, though it didn't show up :/

The GameCube, by a long way, no contest. Some of the work they've already done and are currently doing is already excellent, I can't wait for more stuff...

I wasn't sure how to make a poll, in which you vote, how do u do that?

Summing up, I am now more sure GC is the one I want, but I'd still like xbox (crazy taxi 3)& ps2, with the darker grown up games.

Yes. Evidently you're one of these shit cunts who prefers anything to admitting kiddy games are fun.
I want a gamecube, I want lashings of brightly coloured garish fun games, I want nintendo and sega to have my children, and I want sony to die a boring mundane game-ridden death.

What differences does the pad make? and its a shite rip-off of the DC pad anyway.

I've played on a game cube pad, and it's just puurrrrfect :) though not having a left shoulder takes some getting useto and the analogue stick is smaller than the N64 one, however joo get 2 of them, mite stop the build up of gunk like in the N64.

Heh, Sony arent totally crap, they do produce some good games, but thats some, out of hundreds and hundreds.... Not very good quality control..

I am also sick of the kiddy console people, why label a console a kiddy console ? Its just so stupid, just because its purple ? What other reasons are there for saying such things?

Its hardly full of kiddy games.

Kiddy games are more like the shitty educational puzzle titles you get on PC's for 10quid each, that take about 20minutes to complete and are paced slow as fux :/

GC will 0wn for Sega games, because Nintendo and Sega are more on the same wavelength, they are willing to push the boat out more than MS/Sony, who are content to rinse out sequels and same genre games all the time ;)

Normally takes me a while to get used to a new pad. But when I first used the GC pad it just melted into my hand, no looking down at the buttons or fiddling with the stick it is without a doubt the best pad I have ever used* :D

*That includes the jaguar pad :p :D

A game produced on the PS2 != A game made by Sony. A lot of anti-Sony biased people make this mistake. Most of Sony's games are pretty kick ass (Gran Turismo and WipEout come to mind). The only duffer that comes to mind with a SCE badge on the front is This Is Football (which we recently renamed to This is AIDS) - but even then it's still better than FIFA. It's just shit compared to PES.

I still have yet to figure out how Sega went from the brilliance that was the Mega Drive and Saturn pads to the insult to ergonomics that was the Dreamcast pad. Kinda like Sony modelling the PS3 pad on the Xbox one. And i'd have respect for the GC pad if the basic design wasn't so blatantly ripped from the PSX pad.

As for Sega games, well frankly, I couldn't give a shit what platform they come out on. As I have found them all, with the noticeable exception of Rez (PS2 version) to be very very poor. One thing GC (and PS2) fans should remember - Why have cotton when you can have silk. Would you really forego the latest Miyamoto release, the sheer hilarity of Super Smash Brothers, the addictiveness of the latest WipEout or Tony Hawk's or the smug self satisfied air that people who play Rare games get in order to play an inane game involving heeping a monkey from falling off a large square which tilts around a bit.

Remember kids, Sega went out of the hardware business for a reason - From the Mega CD, through 32X and Saturn, til the very death of the Dreamcast they showed one very clear thing. They didn't have a clue what they were doing.

Sega went out of the hardware business because the DC (finest console ever IMO) failed. And the DC failed because Sega spent exactly £6 on marketing.

And as for Sega games being poor? Well I'd like to know what you're smoking and where I can get some :p

SMB is on the GC Bodhi, so anyone getting it will not forego anything, except endless sequels.. :p

There are a few good games on the PS2, but there arent many compared to how many are released :p

Sega are the console gaming daddies, and I'd take a DC pad over a PSX pad anyday

The PSX pad was a rip off of the Snes pad.

That was the daddy :)

I concur, there was something snug and cozy about the SNES pad.
There might not be now, given my hands have probably grown; but I keep the fond [distorted] memories.
