I know I've done this before, but not since we were Game.net, so I think I can do it again. Plus, with the Daily Mail thread, its pretty topical. So, go to Political Compass, do the test, and post up your scores.

Will - Economic -6.75 Social -6.56

Which makes me the liberal left-wing hippy that you all seem to despise so much.

I care about this just as little as I did the other 475 times we've had this thread.

From what I remember of this from last time we did it, I've moved to the left slightly and become less libertarian, which is a worry because I thought my stance on civil liberties was hardening. The War On Terror (TM) must be getting to me...

I've stayed pretty static on civil liberties, but I'm now a wee bit lower on my stance on economic policies. The G8 visit to Edinburgh hardened my views quite a lot.

OFFTOPIC

Will, have you heard that the Scottish Taxpayer may be liable to pick up the Security tab for the G8 summit - to the tune of approx £50m

got any spare change?

Wow, thats really fair. A bunch of rich industrialists get together, knowing there will be mass protests, and then pass the cost onto the tax payer. And I'm supposed to hate the people who protest against the system, because the system is fucking me over?

Hmmm far more left leaning according to this than I would have thought I was. I'd have expected myself to be middle of the road.

Of course if there'd been a question about shooting chavs I'd probably have swung all the way to the right on that question :)

It's fine for society to be open about sex, but these days it's going too far.

Daft question. If I disagree am I disagreeing that it is fine for us to be open or am I disagreeing that we are going too far?

I agree that we should be open, and think we should go further, what do I answer?

Apart from that I am a left wing libertarian, down with Nelson Mandela, the Dali Lama, Ghandi and Wile E Coyote :)

If you disagree you're saying things aren't going too far. Therefore if you strongly disagree, you're saying we could be even more open.

So, despite all the claims, most people on this forum are left-wing liberals. Or at least, the people who can be arsed doing surveys are.

I am more akin to Hilter and Thatcher, i'd say that's about right because i've got some incredibly fascist views about how to deal with the scum sucking spongers in today's society.

Ah you see I was going to defend my quadrant with impunity from any unholy aggressors, but Wij can come in. I need someone to pop the garage for more Rizla.

There's a bong in it for you......
