Albion Polearm

- Disabler has been changed to medium to-hit and now chains off of Defender's Cross.

- Poleaxe has been changed to chain off of Defender's Rage and now has a high to-hit bonus.

- Defender's Revenge has been changed to medium fatigue and chain off of Phalanx. Additionally, the damage has been lowered.

So both Defender's Revenge and Defender's Aegis will chain off of Phalanx? Sounds good to me.

Tbh the label that 2hders were gimps was always complete rubish, any 1 who knows a full 50/50 2hder knows that they can out perform pole even b4 the nerf. Some nice changes to 2hd,
especially Sun and Moon getting a better stun and Doubler snare effect.

Albion 2handed

- Doubler has been changed to a rear positional, medium damage snare style.

- Sun and Moon has been changed to a high damage 7s stun style that chains off of doubler.

- Bone Breaker has been changed to a bleed that chains off of Bone Splitter.

2h was never better than polearm, mainly because of the lack of med-high bonus-to-hit moves, but tbh, they have had just as bad as a nerf as polearms with their stun chaining off a behind style.

Polearmers and 2h'ers will be benched as a 'support class' because of these changes and the inability to take on a tank head on. Thats if the patch goes through...

but judging by the zerker nerf, I have little hope it'll be revised. they all thought it was unreal, and would never go live... guess what happened :(

Using pole stun style In 1fg vs 1fg fights is almost imbossible atm. With these new changes it will be much easier to use and I might actually respec to Pure Polearms.

Well with the qui being sorted out in future patch, 2h thrust could be better overall in rvr, be hitting fairly fast and not that much lowered damage.

why would u need stun style in 1fg vs 1fg, shield tanks so that job. for stopping people running away? we have crippling blow, which is just as effective to stop people in they're tracks.

Melee stun is very powerfull tool imo. Sure, snares from PF/Cribbling Blow are great too but it wont stop healers/casters to MoC, use insta heals etc. While the enemy is stunned it can't do a thing and will die quickly unless it Purge. You will have ability to use great stun (is it 9sec? :p) easily in 1.65d and you will still be able to use Cribbling Blow as it is now. Sure, the new changes are pretty bad for soloers but that isn't what I made my Arms for :p Also only few mobs uses styles so Pole stun has been crap in PvE too.

I'm Hybrid specced atm (39slash, 42shield and 50pole). Specced 42shield for slam, in 1.65d I wont need it that badly and I will most likely respec to Pure Polearms.

its not powerful if shield users slam, its rendered useless, and besides, the damage has been nerfed too.

I would of prefered it to be 2nd in the highest damaging chain avaliable to polearms, rage-revenge, and kept the existing behind combo which has very high damage output has it is.

and rage-revenge has had growing uses in PvE as most (near all) high level sidi mobs style, and even introducing styling mobs in the old world.

also to add, getting a rear positional style isn't 'easily achieved' when hes hitting you

It may be the shiz nitz but you shouldn't have to get a 14 point RA to fix a class.

True but it's something really worth getting sometime in an armsman's/armswoman's life in rvr preferable at higher rr, it's a good bonus to have. Those pole arm changes are good group wise people are saying but not solo.

err if hes hitting you instead of hitting your cleric/sorcerer then you have already won :)
If your trying to hit him back however....:)

Ok, the stun from behind while the tank is battering your support.....

thats 6-7 seconds to stun the bugger(BT not included).

How about you twat the tank with CB, then the support moves.

End of problem.

No, I'm using the example to counter the "Stop whining, you can now stun from behind and protect the support classes" arguement.
