Poison Thrown Weapons?

Can Shadowblades poison thrown weapons (currently I have envenom 2 so dont bother using)?

And can SB's use thrown weapons whilst hidden ala Hunters?

The reason I ask is because I see in 1.52 the range of thrown weapons is increased - and so it might be useful (especially in battlegrounds).

Well mate, You can certainly place poisons onto a thrown weapon HOWEVER I'm pretty sure that as soon as a weapon leaves your hand/inventorry the poison is removed Do'h!
I've tried it a couple of times, and it hasn't poisoned the target, but i'll try a few more just to be sure
And no you can't thrown whislt stealthed, same as hunters cant shoot stealthed <for bovious reasons really, if you can't see whats shooting at you it would make hunters/rangers/scouts unstoppable>

no, it wont work
actually you can apply poison to throwing weapon but it wont proc, just a bug i think

If it gets fixed (1.52?) it might be a useful tactic for us SB's to lob dot/snare weapons at people on battle field - what do you reckon?

Especially seeing as one-hit stealth has been removed.

it will be fixed in the way that you wont be able even to apply the poison

like with bows u prbabaly have a chance to remain stealthed in the wind-up of the throw, but once u release your unstealthed...

BTW, only 1 word comes to mind when u can apply poison on throwing weapons...overpowered ^^

imagine: stleathed guy, get lifebane(lvl 50poison) throws, runs, restealth....target gets about 400 dam, u do it again... and again and again and ...well u get the point, the fact that u can do damage, while stealthed = overpowering

once u have thrown the dagger u can restealth in a matter of secs, while the poison is still working..

ok Imagine this, u poison your right and left hand weapon, and your 2 h weapon, as well as your throwing knives.
Add root/stun to throwing knife chuck it at some poor person... leg it away and restealth, come back back stab with dual weapons with imbalance and DoT, switch weapons after combo to 2h and use a diesease etc... thats 4 poisons.
Ok pretty hard to pull off admitdly, but gotta be worth a go

no it will never work..

same goes for infiltrators....

you cant poision ranged weapons...

otherwise we have have a big advantage over NS, who have spells rather then knives or xbows
