Pls Help! - How do I stop swapping to windows?

In HL-CS I use A-W-S-D for moving, ALT for crouch and TAB for scores.

When I am crouching and hit score to see how many oppos are left I switch back to the desktop.

-Very anoying but wouldn't be so bad if I didn't loose all sound when I switched back

Any solution other than changing keys?

Yes I know what it does.

I want to disable it-(doesn't happen in UT,Q2,Q3A)

I use the same keys but I use "C" for crouch

the best way is to reassign your score key to Q or somethin

You can disable ALT Tabbing somewhere - but why would you want to? Change your +showscores bind. If you do alt-tab out and loose sound - just Escape to the HL menu screen - then resume game

I have a 3 button mouse left click is shoot middle is crouch
and right is jump.I use crouch alot saves me lots.

Try looking in your registry files dont change anything you dont know. I read about it in an old pcf.

I use R,D,F,G for movement and the surrounding keys for crouch, weapon changes etc. It's less cramped IMO.

well i use q for right p for left b for crouching, r for wanking, x for reloading, shift for forward, escape for backward

Can this be disabled from using m$ kernel toys? Coming to think of it, do kernel toys work with later versions of Windoze?

Prolly easier to remap as someone else said.

Cursor keys suck, way too cramped.A D left right, W S back and forward, space jump, Ctrl crouch, shift walk.
Only little boy hands could use cursor keys
With that config u need never move your left hand from its position on keyboard, all the keys are right there. If you use that config send me ten pounds

Looks like 'q' then or maybe I have found a use for that button 5 on my mouse.

The soz about the last couple of Mondays - have had some Chick+baby/computer conflicts
