Lo all, Seems I've unintentionally sparked off a big issue on the uktribes mailing list. My comments on there, were perhaps a little more blunt than I intended, which unfortunately is one of the hazards of writing out an email and sending it, before thinking through how other ppl might take it.
Firstly, I'd like to say that I intended no offence to either MnO, or cF, the only reason that I mentioned them, was due to their being the principal complainants about the map choices, and was in no way due to them being non-English tribes (I always voted for allowing Euro tribes into the UKTL, makes for much better games I think). The comment about them having less say than the rest of the tribes within the league (which was purely down to their being invited in, not because they are not English), could easily be taken as rude, I can see, althought it wasnt intended as such
Anyway, basically, I'd like to apologise unreservedly to ANYONE who ive offended on this issue, and point out that it was MY opinion I was giving, not that of the UKTL, or the UKTRIBES community. Personally, I hope that MnO rethink their decision to leave the league, and I hope that the rest of the Euro tribes in the UKTL didnt take this the same way :/
/me makes mental note to keep his opinions *OFF* the mailing list in future, as it seems people take them far too seriously.
