hello,

I'm in need of help.
I have done about 20 types of characters in hiberina... but none higher than lvl 17.
I didn't really enjoy any of them much and now I'm at the limit....
I have deleted all my chars, ( also gave everythin away) and I want to start a new one.

have you ever been in a group and need (e.g) a Tank ?
Well tell me to become one

I'm lost

so if anyone knows/thinks that there is one class we need more of in hibbylands, tell me and I'll be it. ( except for ranger, I dislike bows ) !

please anyone help,


p.s. If you like you can tell me what to specc in , it can be weird speccing , like I've done a Piercing blademaster .. and lots of other weird speccs,


please tell me whats needed and I'll serve this realm well.

Well, if you didnt REALLY enjoy any of them ... try another realm because if you don't like playing your character, you will delete it eventually.
I know Hibernia is a fun realm and not very 'densely' populated
but playing something you dont like will lead to frustration only. Maybe not till lvl 20 or even 30. But e.g. lvling up to 50 will need all your 'I love my character' to push it through.

Try a Bard too, prolly the most "be in a group" character. Mezz, heal, Rezz, but what i find most fun in PvE is amnesia. Saved casters/rangers ass, taking aggro off them. Hehe!!

+ = how much I think I'll like 'em, I'm gonna start one... we'll see if its my taste

I agree with Nemesis, you should do a mentalist. My main is a Hero, but I have a menta alt and he's great fun to play with. If you spec in mana you will get pow regen and all classes who usues power will love you and you won't have any problems getting groups. Also if you spec in mana you will get both regulars DoT and a AOE DoT which mids and albs fear very much.
If you spec in light you will get the second best nuker on hib (only fire wiz on alb is better I think) and you get charm so you can have your own little pet. My spec with my Mentalist will be 36 Light 36 Mana and 19 Mentalist. This way I get both powerful nukes, lvl 4 pow regen, charm, DoT and at 19 in menta I can mez if I have to.
That was my oppinions about a menta, if you have more questions ask me in game or here.

Warden spec in blunt and Nurture for bladeturn is great

Mentalists are good got 9th lvl atm specing in light

Final Spec 45 light 25 mana 16 ment

Bards are very good mez heal rez songs

I think you have to find what style of playing you like most.

You like to bash/smash/crush? Go to Hero, or blademaster or Champ.

You like to cast spells, manipulate with magic energy? Go to casters - each of them has strengh and weakness.

You like to stealth around in shadow and kill enemy by suprise? Go to Nightshade or Ranger if you like to take enemy from distance.

Or you want to be group supporter, allways welcomed in groups? Go to Bard, Druid or Warden...

All chars have theirs use. Find first what style of playing you like most then choose it you want to be pure of that class (Hero, Eldritch, Druid) or you want to be some hybrid (Warden, Bard, champs). Usualy Hybrids are more fun to play (more thing they can do) but also they had so sacrifice something.
