please help me

hi, im having problems
i have been playing daoc for a while now with no issues whatsoever, but last night the game started crashing on me, no lag before hand or anything, just dumps me to the desktop, i had a friend format my hard drive and reinstall daoc, and its still doing it, very annoying. it seems random can play for 10 mins sometimes.
any help would be much appreciated as im not a techie

no ravyn i dont have it installed, i think i may have solved it, im a bit ashamed really, would the fact that the processor was overheating cause daoc to shut down, and my pc to just be lousy in general?
if so then its my own fault, as i was fiddling inside my pc the other night, i knocked off the fan from the heatsink on the processor didnt notice at the time, but when i looked in last night the heat sink was red hot, maybe it was that

That would explain a lot, if you got a lower end processor doing a lot of work to play daoc then it could well get very hot, especially almost any processor without a fan at all. My old 600 Athlon used to dump me to desktop often and I needed to add another fan just so I could play
