Hi a friend of mine has setup a petition to give to GOA expressing how we would like a 3rd English speaking server so we can all play all 3 realms with one account. I am sure many of you have wished that we did have 3 English servers and by all signing this petition we can make it happen.

sure a third english server would be nice so you could play all different realms but the english player base is too small to start a third server, non of the two existing english servers are ever full.

Yeah I here what you are saying but many people I know have gone to play on PvP server as a 3rd server so they can play the last realm with english speaking people.

Waht would be a good idea, though, would be to advertize in the UK, so we got more players, and thus, the playerbase for a third server

GOA don't see the english market as making their money. They see their money as the French / German markets and tbh it makes sense as they have more of a hold over those people, arn't that many localised MMORPG's.

If they have been unable to run this upgrade properly then the amount of new people they will have got in the UK will be low and come SWG time the number will be even less unfortunatley.

SI was meant to be a big deal and GOA have proved themselves to not have the resources to actually host the game properly. They run the whole thing on a shoestring which is obvious.

There business plan is a classic Dilbert... I think the people at GOA are probably quite good at what they do, I just think Wanadoo (or whoever their parent company is) are screwing them with a lack of resources.

Don't think at least the current problem with SI activation can be put down to isufficient budget. That very much looks like the person who was tasked with setting up the system for SI registration did a quick and dirty hack of it with not much forethought. As a result, they will likely lose a good portion of at least new customers. It is now what, 4 days into release? The fact that the problem with registration still has not been addressed indicates disinterest in addition to sloppiness. Business it may be but certainly not good one.

the corrent playerbase isn't big enough to support 3 servers.
tho Prydwen is getting busier, so soon it might be

A third english server is just one of the badest ideas people posts on this forum. There are big problems with under population as it's. We dont need new server until the numbers of players start to reach up at full servers.

And I dont think most people would even care, if they can play in all realms or not. I dont know many people that like playing multi realm at all. But there should be a PvE (COOP) server, that server would have multi purpose for both players and GOA. Since there would be more players starting to play DAoC. There are a big public out there that dont play DAoC just becaus of the PvP combat. I know several people that will start playing if there was such a server.

Bottom line WE dont need a third english server!

There are many people I know that would like to play all 3 realms and be able to speak to people in English. Yes there aren't currently enough people to really valid another server (just yet this wont be presented to GOA for quite some time) but if it happened I guarantee it would be popular because people can then play all realms. To the guy that said its the worst idea yet, its not to the many people who want an extra one, if you want another server sign it, if you don't then don't sign it, simple

Addlcove, maybe so more people see it? Not that hard to work out is it? Like everything in life if you want people to see something you advertise you don't just put up one poster, you put up several so more people will see it, it really isn't that hard to understand (have also put it on technical support). And this is whether you want a 3rd English speaking server if you don't then don't sign simple.

I'm sorry if this big scary thread offenced anyone, i know how hard it must be on you reading the same info twice.
