Hmmm...
ok, being a healer i figured i might as well have a little fun so i made a cave shammy and have a lot of fun with the little kobby dude...
that was untill tonight, i understand that shaman's have good buffs. however when you arn't a buff-bot and people tell you
"shaman = buffs"
"your a shaman thats what you do"
"we're in the same realm why won't you buff me?"
normally i don't mind buffing peeps if i'm just wondering around thid solo and casting bolts/AE-dot's into the albi zerg then seeing how long i can keep away from them (had a brilliant little hide-and-seek session with a smite cleric. shame he was orange con to me or i would have bolt/doted his ass into the ground
) but when you've just logged on and are still suffering from start up lag then having people come up to you from nowhere and ask for buffs then when you say no start to put you on a friggin guilt trip
"we're all on the same side"
"thats just selfish"
"so your taking it out on me cause the last few people gave you shit for not buffing?"
"this shammys being lame and refusing to buff people"
ARGG!!! its not a shaman's duty to buff people, its a choice don't give me a hard time just because i refuse to be your little bitch. and it really really helps if you say please, possibly a thank-you if i do decide to buff you. it really does help
and lets not forget all the shitty situations i throw myself into willingly! to res people. again thats a choice, its why i solo occasionally in thid so i don't have to turn folks down unless its an insane request.
so i plea all you people, please don't treat every shaman you see as a buff-bot belive it or not some people play as a shaman because its fun. not so they can give their lvl 50 what-the-hell-ever an advantage.
and i'm not saying having a buff-bot is wrong. i think it gives an unfair advantage over others, but its the players time the players money so i try very hard not to judge what those players choose to do with it.
