Playing on the US servers

Hopefully someone can clarify this for me.

I have a European DAoC account with all expansions but would like to try the US servers.

I have edited my update.dat file and can connect to the US servers by creating a new trial account. However once the 2 week trial period is up it seems I will have to purchase Catacombs and Darkness Rising again.

Is there a way of using my existing european account and its expansions on the US servers or is it case as above having to purchase them again specifically for the US servers?

Any help is appreciated.

US servers are operated as a separate entity, therefore you need to buy any required expansions separate to your european account.

That make sense?

Basically if you have an eu account with everything, when you move to us servers you start from scratch without any paid expansions.
