Maybe you heard of them, maybe you've even seen them :

DaoC Gameplay clips made by users. Now was my question : does anyone have some links to some good clips (like epic RvR-battles and such)

I currently have only one link, showing off the new US-dungeon : Darkness Falls

Just finished watching the movie and looking at the maps that are already published on the net and i mcan't wait to enter that dungeon.

It looks huge with a lot of nice new mobs in it.
Now let's hope that GOA can finish translation, then we might be able to play in the dungeon next year.

Fantastic vid clip.

Looking forward to seeing the place in game. And we'll only have to wait a couple of years.

That clip is very well done! Although it was of small resolution but damn it was cool! The beginning was very well done and it really got me excited.
Darkness Falls looks excellent! The monsters look very very cool and I can't wait till it comes around to us Europeans.

I know, I think the way the beginning was done with the video was awesome, with the minstrels "playing" the music in the video and then the way the action kept flowing in. Then this nice calmer part where the camera pans the various people involved and the end where the "camera man" dies causing the video/music to end just topped it off.

LOL yeah...the beginning is the best I reckon...the intro of the instruments rocks :)

It actually got me all excited, I was eagerly awaiting to see Darkness Falls in action and damn it seriously leaped wayyyy past my expectations.
That climbing thing at that one wall looked fun and the thin bridges just made it a lot more interesting!

I suppose.... but then again we will get it, don't worry. I for one am having fun already without it, so I can wait no problem. I for one still need to level a lot before I venture there.
Oh btw you all saw them battering the middies right? I guess the portals just switched places from realm to realm and some middies were left inside.

yeah i wont darkness falls too, what realm will it be in. Also i cant bloody w8 for this pvp server. Itll ruin rvr for that server but hey, ill still play on exc too :clap:

Yes it is a third party program but it does not interfere with gameplay in anyway.... it just records what is on the screen. Mythic will with 99.9% probability not mind the use of a program like this being used... you are just making videos after all and this one in question was just amazing :D

Yeah so do I.... it really gets you excited and damn it looks so awesome too! Someone really did a good job with this video, someone being that one person on top in the middle :)

Yeah, cool aswell... damn did you see the sword on that monster at ~45s into the video or so? Kick ass! Players can get those too and damn they look cool (although player ones aren't as big maybe :D)
Ewwww..... at ~2:40 an ugly firbolg face is shown close up :D
HOLY CHRIST that thing looks cool! At 3 minutes there is this black knight mob which is pretty big and has one of those cool swords... I can't wait to see this dungeon for myself :D :D :D *drool*
OMG that monster at 4:45 is HUGE! I really like what they did with the new mob models.... they killed the damn thing! Sheesh....
One thing with this video was that it was not in 1st person view so it wasn't quite as good as the other, plus of course the df video had much more work put into it, but this had some nice action alright.

How they are made: yes, there exists a 3rd party proggie which you can run in background that records your happening on screen, but it is not a good method unless you have a FRIGGIN GREAT computer. And we all know that it doesnt mind if you have a SUN rendering server-farm or a Pentium3 500MHz when it comes to big RvR battles so just forget about grabbing movies with that method. Best is to acquire a TV or video card with TV-Out, connect that with TV-In on another computers TV/Video card and just play the game normaly while grabbing video on another computer. THats about it.

Aaaah great! Thanks for the link, would it be possible if you pointed me towards this program for recording these videos... I just want to test it out of curiosity.

first clip was nightwish and the the second clip had 2 songs of metallica and another song that i couldn't place.
