Yes mate, absolutely tons. Dave Georgeson one of the main devs of PS was head honcho on Tribes 2 (and I'm sure he was one of the leads on T1 but not 100% certain - its a long time ago).

Planetside is pretty much a natural progression from the Tribes franchise. All we need are flags and more jetpacks and away we go .

Everywhere I go I see names from my T1 and T2 past - lots of European players from the best clans/tribes.

For example Bloodlust are a VS outfit - they were one of the best UK tribes (don't let that go to your heads if you read this you monkeys! )

Its nice seeing people from both the FPS and RPG community - and killing them

Woohoo! Maybe I'll meet up with some of my old T2 clan we weren't very good, but damn we had fun. Our CL went on to play for the T2 national team which was cool . His name was Zicon, haven't seen him around have you? or Selnix, CricketWicket, Last Man Standing? <goes into nostalgia mode>
