Someone mentioned about public transport, its fucking terrible, I HATE getting the bus, I waited 45 minutes this morning for the bus to get to work. They put bus times up, but whats the point, they are never on time.

Buses in nottingham are shite (atleast the NCT one's) [suposedly every ten minutes my arse.] and if your a second late and you are literally next to the door the driver fucking closes them and drives off on you, even after making loads of attempts to signal you want to get on..

Working for the buses in london i can tell you thats normal. Drivers are taught that once they have indicated and turned the wheel then they are not allowed to open the doors again, for health and safety reasons and for other drivers. Other drivers have to stop to let buses out and if one has indicated to leave and someone behinds stops and the bus then goes back into the bay to pick up more drivers it can cause congestion and accidents

Those cars also seem to be made without a decent crumple Zone, they don't look safe at all, even those Smart cars make me cringe when I see people in them.

The fuel prices never bloody dropped after that explosion and they used that as an excuse to raise the prices.

Tbh i don't think that is very fair. It's not easy to become a train driver and you have alot of peoples lives in your hands.

Oh please .... if you can drive a car then your over qualified to drive a train.

Its not like you have to negotiate traffic.

Its not like you have to comprehend an array of control surfaces.

You have a lever which makes train go fast or train go slow.

Watch for green light or red light.

Most of the time you are on strike anyway.

And if you dont want to work that day blame it on the leafs, ice, wind, rain, sunshine, solar flares or microscopic iron eating bugs.
