Was in the beta getting a bit bored of CoH, and D3 is tiresome (hope HL2 will be better). Seeing how cheap it was to get PS (except the expansion for some stupid reason) so I rejoined, playing Terrans (as I like more dakka!).

So to hijack the thread, anyone here play TR? I'm a lowbie at the moment, but in the beta I was a tank driver/engineer/gal pilot.

I play VS on Werner Having a blast since I rejoined earlier this month (I also was burned out on CoH) and have BR20 in my scopes and attainable this month (with luck).

Unfortunately most of my previous outfit mates either quit the game or switched sides. Had the pleasure of being killed by Wicoa and Erased in the last few days

I play under the same name (Turamber) so just give me a shout if you fancy teaming up.

The event just finished.. lots of meteors, earthquakes.. and even some robot guys voice saying something about something or other...

Now Oshur becomes the Battle Islands, if you didn't know.

Yup great event ... pretty impressed by it given it was so simple ... just Meteors, Eartquakes and then the planet speaking to us just as it shut down and moved the continents to other planets Was odd towards the end stood with some TR on numorous occasions in a sort of truce just to see the world end...

The new Battle Islands are complete Gits though... A lot of fun just so different from PS on the other maps.

Very impressed with the event, certainly the best i've ever seen in any MMORPG by far, shame BI dosnt really seem to add much to the game, just a new landscape it seems

Well they are more about the playstyle than the look... They are for the people who just want instant, constant action. Because everything is so closely packed it is easy to find an enemy and a hotspot.
