I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I should have posted this link to Planetary Annihilation ages ago.

Not bad for a kickstarter eh? A $900,000 goal, already at $2.3m...

...the creators of Total Annihilation better not fuck it up! :D

Been watching this, looks really good. Have they decided to put in SP Skirmish's?

I don't know - but I can't see a game like this without a Human v CPU mode.

Nice that you'll be able to run your own servers too etc.

It's like going back to the 90's - something the corporates sorely need ;)

nice little game. running off to other moons in the system and then using them as weapons is great fun

How's it run then? The singleplayer working? Does it require massive CPU?

was tempted to buy it, it certainly sounds interesting/fun and graphically it looks good for an indie game.

It actually runs fine on an older system (mine is an i7 with a HD5800 or something and 6gb ram).

Loved the Supreme Commander and TA games but struggling to get to grips with the planet system. Very good value at £10 though.

Does that really qualify as an older system though?

Sure there are better stuff around but come on. :)

Been about a while. Minecraft kicked if off properly I suppose.

Works well if the game turns out good, badly if it turns out shit.

Since like a year or longer. Really a vast amount out there by unknown studios are "early access" games.

See a lot of people moaning that it gets very slow late game with 3000+ units on the move. Also uses 8Gb if ram so many people will have issues with it. Sounds like they need to do some optimisation. Changing gaphics settings does not help, and people saying this were running i7's just older gen ones.
