Having played RTR quite a bit in the last few days I do feel that the planes need serious adjustment, as many have said in the past.

I have been on the giving end (Bids) and on the receiving end too which has been a rather enlightening experience.

The planes carry too many bombs, they should be made more realistic by making them carry one load and then requiring them to return to the runway to reload. This has the effect of stopping the planes from looping around in the sky while the planes bombs reload which allows they to drop another load in about 6 secs.

They could even go as far as forcing the planes to land to reload the plane with bombs instead of just flying low over the runway.

and to stop Public "dog fighting" syndrome where they just circle round and round u for ever so neither can hit they should have fuel!!

I also find the dive bombers a bit ridiculous. It makes it worse that there are very few AA guns on the R2R maps, and the ones that are there are poorly placed and you usually get sniped within seconds of jumping into one.

On the bright side in normal bf... I don't know when they made the changes but I've been shooting down large numbers of planes with my tank machine gun. With a steady aim you can often shoot the planes down before they can even drop their bombs.

I'm sure it hasn't always been like this, and it's great because you actually have a fighting chance on the normal maps vs planes.

But they still need more maps like Aberdeen

I must play that today, I still think planes are very important but with a limited onboard ammo they might be used in a more realistic way .

Yes the planes maybe unbalanced, put there's no need to post every other week about it.
