Pandemic Heist: Pandemic Legion robbed like it’s going out of style.

The lines are still hot as Pandemic Legion just got a masive +200bil hit from the ever existing corp theft treat.

According to early reports, player “Saint Schala” from S******dly [SNIGG] corporation of Pandemic Legion, cleaned up the house at Pandemic Legion defacto home system X-7OMU in Pure Blind, rumor is on the street that the disgruntled member has been specially bothered for the current campaign against the Northern Coalition, specially after being hired by IT, an alliance as we all know, doesn’t have the best past relationships with Pandemic Legion, the initial report was a bit exagerated:

21 thanatos
32 moros
13 nag
12 phoenix
36 revs
33 broads
25 devoter
13 onyx
13 phobos
51 basi
70 guardians
71 scimi
Several Heavy interdictors
and about 80Bil in isk.

Gonna be a nice firesale in X-70 Soon get yer cheap capitals :D

Stuff like that really need to be against the CoC as there's no hope what so ever for the victims to ever get the stuff back.

I know CCP tries to make it as "real life" as possible but this game has to working police force to solve this kind of thing.

This is what makes the game great - it's a sandbox for people to act however they please - that's the charm of it.

If you take that away, it'll be just another story of going back to your corpse, losing nothing. Fuck that mate.

Bollocks.

Spot on :)

I never robbed a thing in my Eve time but I always enjoyed the fact that you had to be on your guard.

Exactly - you know what you're getting so just as 'don't fly what you can't afford to lose' is the motto for leaving a station then 'trust no one, apart from yourself' should be the motto for any rights you think you need to grant to other people for your (or your corps) stuff.

Give them access to stuff worth a little and make sure you sit on the rest with a very big gun in your hand and an angry growl of gtfo.

Personally I usually went with 'trust no one, including from yourself'. If I had to do something that had the possibility to screw up then I spent at least 3 days working out how I should actually do it.

I think the main problem with these sorts of crimes is the lack of consequences. If it was a real sandbox it wouldnt be possible to just sell the goods and send the cash to an alt. You'd have to immediatly fence the goods and the fence would be taking a chance because if traced he'd be in real trouble.

What you have in eve is a semi sandbox - it needs more realistic consequences for peoples actions - being able to constantly generate fresh alts untraceably doesnt help either.

That legion is not much of a long range setup either tho. Even with scorch and tracking computers you won't have more then ~23 - 25km optimal with those pulse lasers...

I'm surprised you don't use a navy geddon tbh. Cheaper to buy, cheaper to use and way more effective. I get about 1100 dps from my navy geddon with tech2 heavies or sentries out.

The navy geddon was my 2nd option but i have since sold it and got a new pith tanked machariel, nothing beats its speed and dps, with my skills/implants i get 1200 gun dps :D
