PL alts on mid/alb

What classes are best for PL alts on mid and alb in the same way the chanter is used in hib?

spec 48 deathsight, 24 in deathservant if pling, move the 24 into painworking if u want to rvr a little too
The key spell is the powertap which is in deathsight.

Guess supp specced bonedancer or cave spec shaman be best for pling in mid

Yeah it is mid im most interested in tbh

Cave shammy = good dmg plus shammy ability to heal after battle

U think this would be better than a SM or BD?

For any melee class an aug/mend shammie and a good list of solo spots :>
Dmg add, end regen, buffs obviously, and friggs for healing in-fight without taking exp...

the dmg shield aura for mids are in SMs special speccline.

necro pl is nerfed a bit in 1.62 tho aparently, the adds u get (because of pet = 3 in grp) which used to be great and give a nice group bonus, in 1.62 the add runs to your alt rather than to your pet - so little bit harder.

Im PLing my SB at present using Sprout, who is Cave/Aug spec. I switch from grouping them, and killing with Sprout, to ungrouping them and killing with the b00fed SB, depending on my mood.

Both work well, tend to group em in DF, but let the SB do the killing in the field, as that way i get drops for her to use.

I also have a BD, who i will use to mow through high xp mobs post 40, when i can trust my SB to stay alive while he hunts. Although he kills at twice the rate of Sprout, if my SB should take a single passing tap, she dies at present. Sprout can rez the SB and just get on with it, whereas the BD cannot, therefore with Sprout i have no downtime.

In Alb matter cabbies are much better for powerlevelling an alt. Necros aint even in the same league. The only problem is getting a spot at tanglers . Necors can chain pull from almost anywhere but still only 1 thing at a time, cabbies pull ALL the gobbos per pull at tanglers.

My Ice Wiz got level 43 in just under 2 days /played using my necro. If I hadn't got bored of it (and finished off in PBAE groups in AC) I would have been 50 somewhere between 3.5 and 4 days, which is exactly the same rate as a Matter Cabby gets. The only difference being that I have a multitude of camps to choose from, where Cabbies often find all Gobo spots camped.

With my Necro, I NEVER restrict myself to pulling individual mobs, I ALWAYS pull BAF mobs 2-3 at a time.

suggest you play a necro.
Necro is imo better than a cabby.

Cabalists are in fact...
a) Restricted to Tanglers.
b) Have to wait for pops.

Where as Necromancers...
a) Can pull anything in chains.
b) Do not have to wait for pops because they are always spawning/ or they just move on and come back when the next spawn is clear.

Necromancers are IMO much much better than the Cabalists.

I merely said 2 Necromancers get the job done better.

Ahh. Well in that case, 3 Ice Wizards, 1 Theurgist, 1 Rejuv Cleric, and 2 Paladins with 1 Sorcerer bot and Enhance Cleric bot outside the group get the job done better aswell.


But I think you'll find the original poster wanted to find 1 class on it's own to powerlevel another single character.

Get a Necromancer then. Most people don't realise that 2 Necromancers grouped level even faster than 1 going solo, so they almost PL each other, theoretically.

cabby spirit debuff doesnt work for necros. neither does it for smite clerics
dont know if the fixed it in 1.62 but i guess not
