I watched this trailer and amazingly got a little excited. I think the POTC franchise was at its best in the first movie when it was all about the action and adventure and not bogged down the whole time by love triangles , sub plots "having an epic ending". I think this might be surprisingly good!

Did you see "Kings"? Some of the finest acting I have ever seen, McShane was a force of nature in that. He was bloody fantastic in Pillars of the Earth too.
