Pipex connection problems

Ive had ADSL for over year now through PIPEX. Last night though I was dropped from my online game and could not browse the internet.

I checked with BT and PIPEX who say there is no problem but when I try to connect (using my USB Acatel speedtouch modem) I get errors such as PPP protocol terminated, remote computer did not respond in a timely manner and so on.

I've had the same problem before and it usually goes away after a couple of hours - this time it hasnt and currently I still cannot connect (im at work atm).

Anyone got any ideas?

Just thought, sometimes it connects but I cant browse the internet or play online games at all. I checked the properties of the connection and there were loads of errored packets and very few bytes recieved. Im sure that means something to someone somewhere

According to the website, connectivity is ok. Mail servers are down though.

I get disconnected for a few hours every week or so. Sometimes longer. It may just be a bit of a glitch that has subsequently been solved..
