Hi
I have played jedi night across a Lan and it worked fine with no problems.
Yet when I try to play via a modem to mode or Internet via MSN I get ping times off the scale 999. I have found that the game is unplayable for me across internet or modem to modem. I am after some advice if the fault is with my computer, am I able to correct it?
I have an Athalon 800, with 256k of Ram. A voodoo 4500 graphics card (yep no longer supported ) and a 56k modem. Using Windows 98. I have NTL as my service provider, although the service provider doesn't come into play when going modem to modem.
Does anyone have any ideas, why my ping times are so bad as to make the game unplayable across internet or Modem to modem? The game works fine when played across the lan.
I was using MSN to connect and play. I have no checking processes running.
Thankyou in advance
