Pierc(leg) temp to ranger

That's my 1st piercing template, I beg to those experienced rangers on leg piercers for some feedback!
will try 50CD 48Piercing rest stealth and celerity+AF charges.
Would be nice to know if wyrd spec works fine with piercing (then maybe I could save some piercing skill points at template and get higher resists or hps), or if 50+18CD and 48+18 Piercing is the way. Thank you for your help.

So u put +stealth to bow.. +8 to be exactly, if u get hitted by someon e while using bow in st( sometimes happen that someone jumps on u before u saw him even with +11 in st) and that guy is a thrust user u loose 11% thrust resist at start till u swicht to weapons leaving it to 15% , can hurt u just need some mos and fast ^^
Other than that wich race are u ? if u are luw/elf u put too much quick on temp ^^even more if u run with cele charges :p
And if u dont have that neck yet .. gl getting it ^^:p

It's a point, Censi posted something about how stealth works, looks like the game only checks your stealth skill when you hide, so the only moment you need 50 composite stealth is when you press the stealth key (nerf infiltrator's crossbows), then I can wield back my melee weapons. About the quickness thing I'm Celt, need 74 to hit 250, with celerity charges I hit the 1'5s cap but fighting stealthers ASD and malice debuff are pretty common.
Anyway got too many doubts about this template, will work more on it, thank you for your advice mate.

Yes...but... WH is what really troubles me when i fight rangers.


PS. That stealth trick is old. The stealth lv is calculated when u press the Stealth button and only then. If u can see the potential...

I know u can use bow/shield to put +stealth on it and swap it before get into st :p but i mean, try to put any magical resis on your sc'ed weapon instead thrust and put thrust on any armor piece:)

Have been working on leg/piercing templates and got this one and many doubts with it, rate on harpy feather cloak proc (specced 50+18CD with 1'5 swing speed, does it worth on 1 vs 1, 1 vs higher numbers?), does it worth fixed spirit damage?, will leg debuff proc quick enought with only mainhand?
PD:I swap to Feather cloak instead of SoM to fit WH, feather doesn't needs to use scalars to benefice from 25% spell duration and so I drop my "downtime" to use WH as nuxtobans suggested.

Q: Is your stealth ability checked only at the time of stealthing or continuously?


This has the following implication:

If it is checked only at the time of stealthing then that would mean that assasins could put Stealth skill on their crossbows, and archers on their bows or shields, and minstrels on their shields. They would merely need to switch to those items before entering stealth, then switch back. This would be a help for templating.

From the coder I call The Other Eric, “The stealth value is recalculated repeatedly so when they remove the +stealth items they are immediately more noticeable.”
