Just been thinking to start on mid/pryd,been wondering how's the group situation on the dark side?
heard there nothing else left than buffbots and their main PL them somewhere?

Oh and ofcourse you have pie?

Edit:Also what classes you need expect healers?

You have to have a lot of patience to be a healer and of course when 50 you do as much damage as a wee wolf. I'm still enjoying playing my 2nd healer though (<---masochist!).

Pure tanks are always welcome, supp SM's are good for PBAOE groups (yes Midgard slowly seems to be grasping this method).

down,atm if you want a group and don't want to play a healing class go for skald.everyone is playing their zerker,savage or SM latelly leaving their skalds inactive.so most groups actually seem to lack skalds stranglly enough.so maybe see you around,and otherwise well,just go for zerker you know you want to

Healers are great for groups. Fear our stuns, gasp at our mezzes, hooray for hitting like a little girl.

You know what I meant. Healer's utility in group vs group isn't what I was on about, I was illustrating why people go for heavy dmg dealing classes other than healers who make it so others wade in. It felt damn good playing a damage dealing class after my first healer, to actually kill someone yourself.

to answer the question you did not ask about pie

Pie increases your Power pool and increases your damage.

Every +10 PIE that is greater then 50 but less then or equal to 250 will grant the caster to a 3% increase in damage done. Also, every +20 PIE that is greater then 250 will give you an additional 3% increase in damage done.

Every +10 PIE that is greater then 50 but less then or equal to 250 will grant the caster to a +1 Damage increase in per tick. Also, every +20 PIE that is greater then 250 will give you an additional +1 Damage increase in per tick.

Basically, a Kobold with +10 to PIE at creation will reach PIE 115 at level 50.
With +75 from SC this reaches 190.
With +52 from the best Acuity from an Aug Shaman, this reaches 242.
Obviously Aug Acuity RA increases this number.

However, an important point is that a Kobold who has no SC versus one with max SC and Aug Acuity III and Acuity from a Shaman is an 81% difference in damage (84% if the extra over 250 rounds up to grant an addition 3%).

The reminiscents of the buffbot generation means u see Shammies everywhere but very very very few Healers !!!
-> as I always say: a veteran CC & healing Red Cross Activist is one of the most challenging and demanding roles you can have in Midgard.
-> I strongly recommend all players to have a healer alt, who can then become main

Then you see all classes of tanks and a slight depreciation of skalds as they are support and not melee tanks (that is what they say...)
-> Here again who can live without The Singing Busdrivers ?? I have never had any problems to PvE in groups, nor in RvR with my Skald.
-> Again I recommend them to everybody as a alt which can and even should then become a main


these are the two classes you usually miss when making a group...
